Meade County, KY Marr Bk A


KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS That we, Benjamin SEELYE, Seth W. SEELYE Saml 
CRAIG & Edmund PURDY are held and firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of 
Kentucky, in the just & full sum of fifty pounds United States Currency which 
payment well and truly to be made and done, we bind ourselves, our heirs, &c 
jointly and severally & firmly by these presents, sealed with our seals, and 
dated this 25th day of December 1824.

The condition of the above obligation is such, that if there should be no legal 
cause to obstruct a marriage shortly to be solemnized between the above bound 
Benjamin SEELYE & Miss Jane CRAIG for which a license this day issued, then the 
above obligation to be void, else to remain in full force and virtue in law.
