Meade Co. KY Marr Bk A


Know all men by these present that we Jesse WIMP and Joseph SIMMONS are held & 
firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Kentucky in the just & full sum of fifty 
pounds United State Currency which payment well & truly to be made & done we 
bind ourselves our heirs &c jointly severally & firmly by these presents sealed 
with our seals & dated this 2nd  day of May 1825.

The Condition of the above obligation is such that if there should be no legal 
Cause to obstruct a marriage shortly to be solemnized between the above bound 
William BURRIS & Miss Elizabeth SIMMONS Daughter of the said Joseph SIMMONS, 
for which a license this day issued then the above obligation to be void else 
to remain in full force & virtue in law
