Thursday, July 10, 1997 Cecil Sallee FRANKLIN -- Cecil Sallee, 75, of Franklin, died at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, 1997, at Sycamore hospital in Miamisburg, OH. Born in Frenchburg, Ky., on March 22, 1922, he lived here since 1942 and was an Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Sallee retired in 1974 from his job as an inspector at General Motors in Moraine. He had worked there for 26 -1/2 years. He was a member of the Franklin Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Helen; a son and daughter-in-law, Merle D. and Sharon Sallee of Franklin; a daughter and son-in-law, Beverly Jo and Ernie Riley of Gratis; four grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; and a brother, Claude Sallee of Hamilton, Oh. He was preceded in death by seven brothers. Leonard, Walter, Ray, Stanley, Millard, Butler and Bruce; and a sister, Lela Stapleton. ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Joseph Baker-Stevens Funeral Home in Middletown, with Dr. Dale Chambers officiating. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
