Mercer County, KY  deed book Vol: 1, page 246, 1790

This Indenture made this 20th day of November in the year of our Lord One
Thousand Seven Hundred & Ninety Three between Zachariah Bunch & Sabory his wife
of the county of Mercer and State of Kentucky of one part & Lawrence McGuire of
the said State & County of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Zachariah
Bunch & Sabary his wife for & in consideration of the sum of one hundred pounds
current money hath bargained and sold unto the said Lawrence McGuire one certain
tract of land lying on the West side of the Dicks containing One Hundred Thirty
more or less & bounded as followeth to wit; Beginning  at three Hicories on the
Cliff of the river near the Mouth of Cain Run thence West One hundred and Thirty
poles to a Buckeye Hicory and Dogwood thence North One Hundred & Eighty Eight to
a White Oak & Sugar tree thence East Thirty Five poles to a Red Oak and White
Oak on a dry branch thence down the branch Thirty Two poles to an Elm and Two
Ash saplings at the mouth of a small spring branch thence down the same as it
meanders to Dicks river thence up the river to the beginning together with its
appurtenances to have & to hold the said tract or parcel of land with its
appurtenances unto the said Lawrence McGuire & his heirs and the said Zachariah
Bunch and Sabary his wife and their heirs the said tract or parcel of land with
its appurtenances unto the said Lawrence McGuire and his heirs will forever
warrant and defend against any other person whatsoever in witness whereof the
s’d Zach Bunch & Sabary his wife have subscribed their names and affixed their
seals the day & year above written/

This Indenture was acknowledged by Zachariah Bunch and Sabary his wife a party
thereto to be their act and deed She having been first privately examined and
relinquished her right of dower therein as the law directs & ordered to be
recorded.
