Cornelias Cozine and Lamitie his wife for and in consideration of 100lbs current money of Kentucky, by the said Garret ... convey to said Garret Darland and his heirs a parcel of land containing 6 acres lying in said County on Azariah's run the land divided by George Holloway, dec'd to his son Samuel and by the said Samuel to the said Cornelious; Bounded as follows: Beginning at a white oak, sugar and hickory tree to Albert Banta thence north 60degrees West 40 poles to a white oak, thence south 30 degrees west one hundred and 398 poles to white oak and two mulberry trees thence south 12 degrees West 22 poles to two hickories on Davis's line, thence south 60degrees East fortyfour poles to a stake in lin of the land of George Hollens lived on May 1789, thence North 30 degrees 159 poles to place of beginning with its appertences, Executed in the presence of Cornelious Cozine Lamite Cozine Mercer Co, June Court of quarter Sessions 1792- This indenture was acknowledged by Cornelious Cozine and Lamitie his wife, a party there unto be there act and deed, she having been first privately examined and relinguished her dower right.
