McGinnis and Nancy Jane McGinnis of the County of Mercer and State of Kentucky of the first part, and Iverson Debond of the County of Boyle and State aforesaid of the second part. Witnesseth, that the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of One hundred and Seventy Six Dollars 75 cts secured by Note to be paid on the 15th day of July Next with interest from this date. The receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth hereby grant bargain and sell unto him the part of the second part, One certain tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the County of Boyle and State of Kentucky on the Dry fork of Chaplin River, and bounded as follows, towit, Beginning at a stone in the old road, thence N24W 4 poles to a stone in the edge of the turnpike thence with the center of the Turnpike S68W 48.5 tenths poles to a stone in the center of the Carry? Mill road where it Crosses the Turnpike. Thence with the Carry Mill road S62-1/2E 18 poles to a stone in the center of said road. Thence N53E 58 poles to the beginning containing Two acres Two Roods and 4 poles be the same more or less - To have and to hold the above described tract or parcel of land with its appurtenances to the party of the second part and his heirs and assigns forever. And the parties of the first part will forever warrant and defend the title of the above tract of land against the claim of themselves as well as against the claims of all other persons whatever, except a lean [sic] is hereby retained on said land for the purchase money.
