Mrs. Chloe Alexander, age 74 applied in Boyle Co., Ky. 27 Feb 1844, widow of 
Isaac Alexander, dec'd..their home was in the part of Mercer Co., that fell in 
Boyle Co., when it was formed. She married Isaac Alexander 1 Dec 1789 in Wilkes 
Co., Georgia by publishing (banns) he died 10 Aug 1838

Affiant 1: Jeremiah Alexander
Jeremiah Alexander, son of Isaac Chloe states on 27 Feb 1844 that his mother 
lives with him in Boyle Co., Ky

Affiant 2: Banister Blagrave
Banister Blagrave of Boyle Co., Ky says(on 28 Aug 1845) he came to Mercer Co., 
Ky (now Boyle Co) in Feb 1790..that he knew Isaac Alexander since they came to 
Mercer Co in 1795 they came from Geogia in the company of his father-in-law 
Reuben Ballard who immediately purchased the land of William Crowdas Isaac 
Alexander purchased the land of Mrs. Arnold. Isaac Alexander owned both tracts 
when he died, where his widow now lives.

Affiant 3: Sally Taylor
Sally Taylor, widow of Leonard Taylor, deposes (4 Sep 1845) that "56 years ago 
in October, I came to Ky ..that about 49 years ago Isaac Alexander came to Ky". 
She can remember this, as a man who had come from Georgia with Isaac Alexander 
was hired by her father, and that was the year before her mother died, and that 
was 48 years ago February last.
