Date: 5 May 1834 James Bruster: Enlisted in Rockingham Co., Va. was born in Rockingham in 1763. His sister Polly Dunn h/w Nathaniel Dunn can testify to his service. His old Bible in which was kept his age was left by him in Indiana with his nephew, William Alexander upon his return..it was later torn up. He removed to Jessamine Co from Va in 1792, left for the state of Indiana in 1814 returned to Jessamine Co in 1829 removed to Mercer Co in 1833 where he now resides. Affiant 1: Polly Dunn Polly Dunn: Resident of Jessamine Co., Ky, sister of James Bruster they were living in the same house in Rockingham Co., Va in January 1781. Affiant 2: Nathaniel Dunn Nathaniel Dunn: Husband of Polly Dunn. He was a resident of Rockingham Co., NC. in 1781. Other: William Alexander William Alexander: nephew of James Bruster.
