Mrs. Elizabeth Bradshaw, resident of Mercer Co, aged nearly 81 states her husband died 3 May 1842 they were married sometime in the year 1781. Part of a Bible: Sally Bradshaw, daughter of Claiborne Bradshaw Elizabeth his wife was born Ocotober 24, 1782 Affiant 1: Barsheba Bradshaw Mrs. Barsheba Bradshaw states she is the daughter of Mrs. Elizabeth Bradshaw who is the widow of Claiborne Bradshaw. She is now living in the house of Elizabeth Bradshaw in which Claiborne Bradshaw lived prior to his death. Said widow cannot leave her room, in her house about 4 miles from Harrodsburg. Affiant 2: Nancy Houchins Mrs. Nancy Houchins of Mercer Co., Ky states she is the sister of Mrs. Elizabeth Bradshaw she was at the marriage of Elizabeth to Claiborne Bradshaw thinks it was in 1780 they were married by Parson Douglas. On the same day William Bowman Mary Cosby were married. The maiden name of Elizabeth Bradshaw was Clements. Affiant 3: Edward Houchins He states that he knows both Claiborne Bradshaw Elizabeth h/w, and had lived from the days of his childhood in the immediate neighborhood until they moved to Ky. When he moved to Ky he came directly to their house they have been his neighbors ever since, down to the death of Claiborn Bradshaw. He married the sister of Elizabeth Bradshaw she is now living. He was also present at the marriage of Claiborne Elizabeth remembers to have slept in the same bed with Parson Douglas the night he married them. He is also a AWR pensioner. Affiant 4: George Robards No date. He is in his 73rd year knew Claiborne Bradshaw in both Va Ky.
