Date: 09 Sep 1832 CRANE, THOMAS, SR.: He was born in King William Co., Va. removed to Goochland Co., Va, where I resided during the ARW..in May 1778, went to Valley Forge to see MY BROTHER, then in the army..at that time I enlisted. (from about 1780 to 1782) lived in Goochland Co..then removed to Cumberland Co remained there 9 years..then moved to Buckingham lived there 7 years then removed to Mercer Co., Ky where I have resided about 20 years.
