He had a wife but no other family or children living with me on whom to depend for support. State of Indiana, County of Marion..3 Jul 1838..he deposed that he has lately removed to Indiana, where he intends to remain and wishes his pension transferred from Ky. The reason he moved was the fact that his children wre living in Indiana. Affiant 1: Benjamin Dean Benjamin Dean: On 3 Jun 1833..he states he remembers the service of John George as a sargeant in the First New Jersey, sd Dean was in the 2nd New Jersey they were together in many battles.
