Enlisted first in Va in 1778 again in 1779 from Prince William Co., Va. in the cavalry. Affiant 1: Francis Adams Francis Adams: Deposition of Francis Adams, who was a trumpeter in the Army..that has frequently conversed with Thomas Graham, Sr. 18 or 20 years about his service. Affiant 2: Samuel McNutts Samuel McNutts: 26 Mar 1833..deposted that he became aquainted with Thomas Graham, Sr. about 1810 or 1812 and down to the present has frequently heard the old man speak of his service, previous to the old man loosing his sight, they were frequently together.
