HOUCHINS, EDWARD: He was born in Goochland Co., Va. where he resided at the time 
of the ARW..was badly wounded at the battle of Camden lay on the ground until 
after the battle was over and then made my escape...I lived in Virginia until 
1821 when I removed ot Mercer Co., Ky. where I now live.

Edwrd Houchins, dec'd he died 14 Apr 1834. They married 27 Oct 1785. A copy of 
the marriage bond is enclosed> 23 Oct 1785, Edwards Houchins Nayc Clements. 
Bondsman: Jesse Clements. BIBLE RECORDS; Edward Houchins, son of Francis Jane 
Houchins was born 29 Feb 1760. Nancy Clements, daughter of James Mary Clements, 
was born 13 Mar 1766. James C. Houchenz, son of Edward Nancy was born 8 Sep 
1786; Jane Houchenz was born 17 Jun 1789; Abner Houchenz was born 4 Aug 1790; 
Mary O. Houchenz was born 7 Jun 1793; Edward Houchenz b 28 Dec 1795; Elizabeth 
Hounchenz was born 11 Feb 1798; Agness O. Houchenz b 25 Jun 1800; Thomas I. 
Houchenz b 28 Jul 1803; Jesse F. Houchenz b 28 May 1806;

Affiant 1: Capt. George Robards
Capt. George Robards: 1 Oct 1832..Neighbors to Edward Houchins in Va was a 
soldier under Robards in 1780. He was wounded at Camcen in his arm is now an 
invalid. Robards was then a Lieut.

Affiant 2: Clayburn Bradshaw
Clayburn Bradshaw: 1 Oct 1832..also a neighbor in Va concurs with Robards about 
his service wounds
