LAFFERTY, JOHN: In Jun 1775, enlisted went to Quebec returned in the fall of 
1776 at Saratoga in New York. Served 3 years served again until 1782. I left my 
discharge papers with Mr. Park in New York about 25 years since when I came to 
Kentucky.
