NEWTON, BENJAMIN: He was born in Caroline Co., Va. at age 15 moved with his 
father to Orange Co., NC in it's divison, we fell in Caswell Co., NC., where I 
resided when the ARW began first volunteered in Aug 1778. Knows of no one who 
could prove his service, My neighbors, Claiborne Bradshaw, Scott Graves, William 
Wood have often heard me speak of my service.
