Sherri Hall OBIT: James Adams, 2003, Mercer Co. & TN 1 Dec 2003 >From the Danville Advocate Messenger, 15 April 2003 RED BOILING SPRINGS, Tenn. -- James "Grizzly" Adams, 44, of Gainesboro, Tenn., died Saturday at his home. Born in Mercer County, he was the son of Isaac and Lucille Clarkson Adams. He was an employee of Clark Lumber Co. Survivors include his wife, Vickey Crowder Adams; a daughter, Leticia Adams of Gainesboro; three sons, Kenny Webb of Tompkinsville, and James L. Adams Jr. and Benjamin Adams, both of Gainesboro; three sisters, Helen Wells of Harrodsburg, Ruth Webb of Tompkinsville and Gladys Reardon of Albany; and three brothers, Joe Adams and Earl Adams, both of Harrodsburg, and Robert Adams of Tompkinsville. Services were Monday at Bethany Cemetery by Jack Honeycutt. Phillip Anderson and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
