From the Danville Advocate Messenger, 8 July 2002 LAWRENCEBURG -- Anna Lee Mann Freeman, 80, of Lawrenceburg died Saturday at James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital. Born Feb. 26, 1922, in Woodford County, she was the daughter of the late Ellis and Hallie Lathrem Mann. She was a member of Lawrenceburg Baptist Church where she had been a Sunday School teacher for 30 years and a Bible School teacher. Survivors include her husband, James W. Freeman; two daughters, Phyllis A. Wilson of Harrodsburg and Shirley L. Tierney of Lexington; two sons, James W. Freeman Jr. of Greensboro, N.C., and Keith Freeman of Lexington; two brothers, Kenneth Mann of Lawrenceburg and James Mann of Nicholasville; two sisters, Edna Witten of Versailles and Patsy Taylor of Lexington; 13 grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lawrenceburg First Baptist Church by the Rev. Greg Burton and Jeff Eaton. Burial will be in Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today at Ritchie-Peach-Todd Funeral Home and 11 a.m. until time of service at the church.
