HARRODSBURG -- Services for Gladys Lucille Davenport Alexander, 90, of
Harrodsburg will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Spring Hill Cemetery.
She died Tuesday at James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.
Born Oct. 31, 1912, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late James
F. and Frances E. Hifner Davenport. She was a homemaker, a member of
Harrodsburg United Presbyterian Church and the Women's Morning Circle. She
was a charter a member of Band Boosters and a Cub Scout den mother. She was
the widow of James M. Alexander.
Survivors include two sons, Andrew B. Alexander and Dr. James G. Alexander,
both of Harrodsburg; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, John S. and James M. Alexander Jr.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
