HARRODSBURG -- Clara Jean Fitzgerald, 74, of Harrodsburg died Tuesday 
at her home.
 
Born May 22, 1928, in New Castle, Ind., she was the daughter of the late 
Charles and Della Brummett Green.
She was retired from the Harrodsburg Police Department and was a member of 
Harrodsburg Baptist Church.
 
She was a past president of the ladies auxiliary of the state police post 
in Richmond.
 
Survivors include her husband, James E. Fitzgerald; a son, James L. 
Fitzgerald of Harrodsburg; a sister, Louise Fitzgerald of Oak Ridge, 
Tenn.; and an aunt and uncle who raised her, William and Mary Huff of 
Somerset.
 
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by the Revs. 
Robert DeFoor and Phil Yates.
 
Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
 
Pallbearers will be Jim Brooks, Larry Morris, Ernie Kelty, Tim Bryant, 
Monty Trower, Todd Burns and Jennings Burns.
 
Honorary pallbearers will be Ruth Ann Bryant, Betty Yeaste, Evelyn Taylor, 
Lucille Morris and members of Faith, Hope & Love Sunday School Class.
 
Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today.
 
Memorials may go to Heritage Hospice or James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.
