Durr, than whom no more honest man ever lived in Mercer county, was found dead in his bed at his residence near Robb’s station, Monday morning. Mr. Durr had for a number of years been employed by the Jack Vanarsdall Distilling Company as general superintendent and distiller. He leaves three children-his wife, a daughter of Dr. Wm. Nelson, of Salvisa, having died several years ago. Mr. Durr was a man of sterling honesty and the community in which he lived will greatly regret his sudden death.
