The Sayings
DURR
	Mr. John A. Durr, than whom no more honest man ever lived in Mercer 
county, was found dead in his bed at his residence near Robb’s station, Monday 
morning. Mr. Durr had for a number of years been employed by the Jack 
Vanarsdall Distilling Company as general superintendent and distiller. He 
leaves three children-his wife, a daughter of Dr. Wm. Nelson, of Salvisa, 
having died several years ago. Mr. Durr was a man of sterling honesty and the 
community in which he lived will greatly regret his sudden death.
