HARRODSBURG -- Georgia Brown, 81, of West Main Street, Burgin, died 
Saturday at Harrodsburg Health Care Center.
 
Born Oct. 20, 1920, in Mercer County, she was a daughter of the late 
Luther and Mae Green Hager. She was the owner/operator of Brown Ceramic 
Shop in Burgin and attended Southside Christian Church.
 
Survivors include her husband, John D. Brown; a son, Donald Bruce 
Brown of Burgin; a daughter, Bonnie Peavler of Harrodsburg; a sister, 
Edna Ball of Burgin; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
 
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Brackie 
Willoughby. Burial will be in Burgin Memorial Garden.
 
Pallbearers will be Thomas Jones, George Hensley, Virgil "A.J." Green, 
Joe Green, C.W. Green and Holly Chilton.
