HARRODSBURG -- Mrs. Lola B. Sims Moore, 83, of Richmond, Ind., formerly of
Mercer County, died Tuesday.
Born March 4, 1920, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late
Marvin Sims and Amner Reed. She was a former manager of the Colgate
University Bookstore in Hamilton, N.Y. and the widow of J.L. Moore. She was
active in Girl Scouts and was a member of the Hamilton Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Ronald Moore of Richmond, Ind.; a daughter, Ann
Wolf of Brewster, Mass.; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Spring Hill Cemetery
in Harrodsburg by James Harley.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
Visitation will be after noon Wednesday.
Memorials may go to the American Cancer Society.
Arrangements were handled by Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home.
