W. Poulter, an aged and respected citizen of Mayo, was tenderly born away on the 25th the little eleven-year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Adkison, of Cornishville, October 28th Mrs. S. G. Sims, of Danville, and on the 29th, Grace the sweet little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Britton, = of Harrodsburg, was tenderly laid among the silent sleepers in Grapevine cemetery to await the resurrection morn. All the bereaved have the = sincere sympathy of this community in their sad affliction. Alexander received the sad news that = his brother, Mr. Wm. H. Alexander had died in Lexington that morning. He had gotten up at 6 o=92clock to build the fires and complained of a severe = pain in his stomach and was unable to complete his task, as he died in less than half an hour there after. Mr. Alexander was a native of Mercer county, = but had been living in Fayette county for fifteen years. He was a = Confederate soldier, and a man who stood high in the estimation of all who knew him. = He married Miss Lizzie Woods, a daughter of the late Harvey Woods, who, = with two grown children, still survive him. Mr. E. Alexander, Mr. Joe Woods = and Mrs. Merril Vanarsdall went to Lexington to attend the funeral.           &nbs= p;     Last Friday Mr. Ed. Alexander received the = sad news that his
brother, Mr. Wm. H. Alexander had died in Lexington = that morning. He had
