She was born February 7, 1877. She was loved by all who knew her, for she was a very lovable character, being kind and devoted in her home and an earnest, faithful Christian. She united with the church when young and had so lived that when the time came to leave this world of sorrow she had nothing to fear. In the evening of the same day the angel of death came to this home again and took the son, Waggener. Typhoid had laid its hold on him first, but he lived several hours after his sister’s death. He lacked but a few days of being nineteen years of age-was one of the brightest boys in the community. Possessed as he was of a kind, cheerful disposition, he made friends wherever he went. The home, the church, the entire community, has sustained a great loss. We are so sad without them, but we have the hope of meeting again where there will be no parting.
