S. Yankey, after a lingering illness of consumption. Deceased was a pure Christian woman and an earnest worker in the church and Sunday school. She died a most triumphant death, and was perfectly reconciled to the will of her Father. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. S. W. Peeples, assisted by Rev. J. L. Murrell, of Springfield, in the Methodist church at this place, of which she was a member.
