Mercer County May Court 1822- The foregoing inventory and appraisal of the estate of William Reynolds deceased was produced into court and ordered to be recorded. Andrew Hawkins, Samuel Gray and Charles Gray, appraisers. Thomas Allen Will Book 6, page 299- Inventory of the appraisement of the estate of Garret Derland, deceased made this 18th day of March 1820. Among items listed: 1 silver watch; 1 map of Europe; 5 bottles; 9 large china plates, 9 small china plates; 1 Large Bible; 1 Dictionary; 1 geography; 1 looking glass; 1 strand of curtains; 4 coffee cups; 1 desk and book case; 1 breadtray, 1 coffee mill, 1 sugar desk, etc. value $235.62; A list of notes due the estate of the same; 1 note on Smith Montgomery for 9.74; 1 note on William Timberlake bearing date Mary 10, 1798 for 90.00; 1 note on J.B. Young dated Oct 22, 1814 for 600.00, 1 note on William Montgomery for 5.29; 1 Receipt from Wm Blaw as holding a note for 1000.00, Due April 1818 bal to Wm Montgomery note. All desperate debts; 1 note on John Warman; 1 note on Hugh and Wm McAllie We the undersigned being first sworn do hereby ceritfy that the foreoing is a true appraisal of the estate of Garret Dorland, dec's given under out hands the 7th day of August 1820, John Smock; Garrot Bonta, Cornelious Demaree Mercer County August court 1820- The foregoing inventory and appraisal of the estate of Garret Dorland dec'd was this day produced into court an ordered to be recorded. Thomas Allen Will Book 7, pg 248- The administrator of Garret Darland deceased by William McAffee. March 6, 1820 by John Jones for a coffin March 8; mentions a judgement of Henry Bonta vs Darland Lanty Armstrong administrator of Garret Dorlandt, dec's, To amount of sale of the estate of Garret Darland as per sale Bill marked $242.35; one note on William Timberlake due; a note on John Deound, one note on John D. Young due; Wm Blains note; Other notes mention Montgomery; Allen, Commings, Thompson, Judgement Darland NO. 25 Total $1404.67 pg 251- The undersigned commissioners appointed by the County Court of Mercer to settle the accounts of Lanty Armstrong administrator of Garret Dorland have his met at the house of said Armstrong and being sworn as the law directs and having an Inventory Sale Bill and accounts of said Aministrator for the Estate of said Darland, in the sum of $12,020 etc. MercerCo August Court 1823; The foregoing settlement was produced into court and at the next court September 1823, the same was approved and orderd to be recorded. Book 9, pg 454 - Lanty Armstrong administrator of Garret Dorland deceased, Nov. 1831 Book 16, pg 269-270 John Darland deceased, 1859- December County court, Inventory and appraisement; John G. Gabhard executor. Gabhardt certified the foregoing inventory contains all the personal estate of John Darland, deceased which has come into his hands, Nov 1, 1859. We do certify that the foregoing appraisement was truly and justly made of the personal property of John Darland and is repectfully submitted to the Mercer County Court, November 1859.
