SLEMMONS and Nancy his wife A. W. SLEMMONS Susanna his wife Washington SLEMMONS and Francis his wife Milly T. FRANKLIN and Roger T. FRANKLIN her husband of Metcalfe County Kentucky and Mary C WILLIAMS and David her husband of Cumberland County Kentucky and Salley D JONES and Thomas her husband of Glasgow Kentucky The parties of the first part Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of eleven hundred and thirty six dollars secured hereby to be paid to them in the following manner (viz.) three hundred and seventy eight dollars and .65 cts is cash in hand paid receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged three hundred and seventy eight dollars and 65 cts secured by one note of hand to be paid in twelve months from this date. three hundred and seventy eight dollars and .65 cts secured by one other note of hand payable in two years from this date said note beginning to bear interest at the expiration of twelve months from this date.
