Graduate of Armstrong School of Music in Alton, IL; taught piano for over 60
years; church organist for 30 years at Springfield Southern Baptist Church and
Springfield First Baptist Church; was a Sunday school teacher and Bible school
director for 20 years. Also a homemaker.
Survivors:
Sons: William G of Edinburg, IL and Larry D of Dawson, IL
Daughter: Janice M. Webb of Park City, KY
16 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 1 gret-great grandchild, several
nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by:
Daughter: Betty Cox
7 brothers and 2 sisters.
Services: 9 am Friday, 16 July 1999, Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home,
Springfield, IL, burial Oak Ridge Cemetery.
