DAISY D. IRWIN
Center – Mrs. Daisy Dean Irwin, 90, died Saturday September 4, 
at Caverna Hospital.
Surviviors include one son, Chester Irwin, Center, three daughters; 
Cora Lawson and Bernice McCandless, both of Horse Cave and Ruby Douglas, 
Knob Lick, one brother Guy London, Texas, two sisters, Mary Trent, E-town, 
Bertha Brinkley, Glasgow.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Butler Funeral Home 
with burial in Cosby Cemetery.

Additional information.
Daisy is my maternal grandmother. Her maiden name was London, she was the 
daughter of James Isham & Alice Green (Smith) London. She married John Emmitt 
Leslie Irwin in 1910. She was born on 30 June 1892 and died on 4 September 1982. 
She was a resident of Center in Metcalfe County at the time of her death and 
many years before.
