Irwin, age 67 of Route 2, Horse Cave, died unexpectedly Saturday, May 3rd at Cavernia Memorial Hospital, Horse Cave. He was a farmer and retired employee of Fawcett-Deering. He is survived by a son, Bobby Dean Irwin, Morristown, Arizona; one grandson, Scotty Irwin, Phoenix Arizona, his mother, Mrs. Daisy Irwin, Center, three sisters, Mrs. Sherman Douglas, Center, Mrs. William Lawson, Route 3, Horse Cave, Mrs. Ralph McCandless, Knob Lick; a brother Chester Irwin, Center; a step-daughter Mrs. Lennie Highbaugh, Munfordville, two step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Additional information. PAPER – Hart County Newspaper (sorry I don’t know the names of these papers, these clippings were given to me by relatives without the name of the newspaper included). Gilbert is my uncle. Gilbert was the son of Emmett & Daisy (London) Irwin. He married #1 Elizabeth Rogers with whom he had one son. They divorced and he later married his cousin Louise Irwin, they had no children together.
