Died: Friday, 22 Oc 2004, T J Samson Community Hospital, age 64.
Born: Summer Shade, Metcalfe, KY
Son of the late Owen E and Mary Free McCoy of Glasgow who 
survives Farmer for several years, former Barren County Deputy Sheriff serving 
eight years with with Sheriff Gayle Wood and seven years with Sheriff Barney 
Jones. Recently he was self-employed and owned and operated McCoy Motors and 
McCoy Motor Speedway. 
Member South Green Street Church of Christ.
Also survived by:
Sons: Cavey and wife Angie and Frankie and wife Melissa, both of Glasgow
Daughter: Tonia Hardy and husband Josh of Glasgow
Grandchildren: Will and Charley McCoy and Allie McCoy
Brothers: Marshall and wife Joyce of Randolph KY and 
Phillip and wife Grace of Glasgow
Sisters: Joyce Ennis of Bowling Green KY, Norma Dial of 
Glasgow, Freda Duggar of Glasgow, Mary Creech and husband Jim of Murfreesboro TN, 
Sylvia Cook and husband Billy of Randolph and Janet Dilley and husband Albert of Glasgow.
Several nieces and nephews.
Preceded also in death by brothers: Jack and Jerry Murrell McCoy
Services: 2 pm Monday, 25 Oct 2004, A F Crow and Son 
Funeral Home, burial Happy 
Valley Memorial Gardens.
