Born: 1 Nov 1934 Center, KY
Son of: Leskar and Nola Coffey Robertson, decd.
Widower of: Sharon Joanne Pruett whom he married 31 Aug 1966 and who died 2 Sept
1988.
Employed for 36 years by Glass Control Corp of Indianapolis, IN as a Quality
Control Supervisor, retired in 1987. Former Fire Chief of Wanamaker, IN for 2
years; member Franklin Senior Citizen's Center and Friends of Bluegrass, leader
of several Blue Grass bands; the South Sise Grass Band playing for churches,
nursing homes and senior citizen's centers. Veteran of the US Navy, served 1952
to 1954 on the Aircraft Carrier Lake Champlain.
Survivors:
Sons: Timothy Mark of Franklin, IN; Christopher Todd of Indianapolis, IN;
WIlliam Ping of Washington, IN and Ronald Ping of Bargersville, IN.
Daughter: Lisa Emerson
Sisters: Beula Mae Jesse and Frances Ragle of Glasgow and Betty Harper of
Bowling Green, KY.
14 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Preceded also in death by brother: Henry Robertson.
Services: 10:30 am Saturday, 19 Aug 2000, Vandivier-Tudor Funeral Home in
Franklin, IN, military graveside services, burial 1st Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near
Franklin.
