Son of the late Edgar and Omie Gilley Veluzat
Retired from Cummins Engine Company as a supply clerk. Former Raleigh Products
Salesman in KY, has owned Clay's Bargain Store before moving to Columbus. Deacon
at Dripping Springs United Baptist Church in Edmonton and after moving to
Columbus, was deacon and member of New Life Missionary Baptist Church there.
Avid CB radio operator, known as "Traderman" and enjoyed visiting the elderly
and the sick.
Survivors:
Wife of almost 60 years: L Grace Moss Veluzat
Two daughters: Rebecca Smith of Columbus and Anita Bryan of Lawrenceville GA
Son: Wally Veluzat of Columbus
13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren
Preceded also in death by:
Sister: Flossie Compton
Services: 1 pm Tuesday, 8 Feb 2005, Barkes, Inlow and Weaver Funeral Home in
Columbus, burial Garland Brook Cemetery.
