Hobrow (inserted) to enable me to accept a commission as 1st Lieut. of Company G of Said Regiment. I was enrolled as an enlisted man in Company E., 13th Regiment-Ky. Vols. Inf.- by Capt. Thos. O. Moore Sept 25th 1861 and mustered into the Service of the United States as an enlisted man December 31st 1861 by L. M. Kellogg, U.S.A.
