E-mail address: ****************************************************************************** The Page Cemetery is located 10 miles NE of Tompkinsville, outside of the "Persimmon Community" on land belonging to Mrs. Clinard Page. The story told about this plot was that a family traveling through this part of the country by horse and wagon had lost a child. They were looking for a burial site when they saw this piece of land at the side of the road with a big shade tree on it. They stopped and buried their child. Their name is unknown. It then evolved into somewhat of a family cemetery for the Page's. The cemetery is on a clear lot, twenty graves are marked only with rocks worn smooth by the weather. From their appearance, I doubt if any inscriptions were ever put on them. The following stones are engraved and are clearly visible unless otherwise indicated: Ashlock, Marion, Jan 1861, 21 Nov 1930 Ashlock, Lois, Jul 1861, 26 Sep 1934 (wife of Marion Ashlock) Harper, Ethel, 14 Oct 1918, 12 Sep 1996 (wife of Venice Harper) Harper, Loucinda Page, 1 Oct 1876, 24 Sep 1943 (wife of Jesse C.
