Catharine NEWMAN received by letter. 27 May 1837: WIlliam McNEACE joined "by interduceing [sic] proof that the church of the same faith and order that he belong[ed] to did not turn him out. He was call[ed] before the church and the cause went of by his accuser saying he was sorry for what he had done." 9 June 1837 at evening service: Nancy NEAL joined by experience. 8 Dec 1837: Patsy WEST and May FLOWERS joined by experience. 1838: 12 Jan: ___ WEST, William JORDAN, Lydia JOURDON, Sarah MARTIN, Nancy JORDAN, Rebecca NEWMAN (black) and Samuel FLIPPIN (Black) and John ISENBURGER [sic] joined by experience and Hannah ISOMBURGER [sic] joined by letter - all baptized by immersion. Note: The extra Oct meetings meant they were in what we now call a revival, they often called this an "extended meeting." I am not certain what was meant by revelation unless he told of his salavation experience prior to the meeting but had not been a member of another church. Note also the spelling of the names run all over the place!
