Died: Baptist Hospital in Nashville TN, Wednesday, 20 Nov 1974 as a result of a 
pickup truck accident which occured near Hartsville TN on 11 Nov. Mr. Bartley 
and three other men in the truck were returning from taking a load of tobacco 
to a Hartsville warehouse, age 69. Son of the late Elmore and Cordelia Spears 
Bartley
Survivors:
Wife: Mrs Alberta Vance Bartley
Son: Dennis of Tompkinsville
Five sisters: Mrs Bell McMillin, Mrs Bertha Martin, Mrs Buna McMurtrey and Mrs 
Bina Chapman, all of Tompkinsvile and Mrs Beatrice Lyon of Bristow TN Two 
brothers: Jack of Moss TN and Herman of Tompkinsville Three grandchildren
Services: Friday, 22 Nov 1974, 2 pm, Yokley-Polston Funeral Home Chapel, Bro 
Charles Petett officiating, burial Yokley Cemetery.
