"Ermel Lexter Dodson, of Tompkinsville, passed away at the Monroe County War
Memorial Hospital after a short illness, Friday, March 9, 1973, at the age of 53
years. He was the son of the late Ola Newman Dodson and James Roscoe Dodson, of
Hestand, who survives. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Kathleen Stewart Dodson;
three daughters, Minnie Chloe Moss, of Tipton, Ind.; Patricia Marcella Dodson
and Sheena Starlene Dodson, both of Tompkinsville; two sons, Morris Gail Dodson,
Route 1, Summer Shade, and Waymond Allen Dodson, Lebanon, Ind.; two brothers,
Ray Dodson, Louisville, Ky and W. C. Dodson, Greensburg, Ind.; one sister,
Dorcie Short, Greenwood, Ind. Funeral services were held Sunday, March 11, at
2:00 pm at Yokley Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Harlans Cross Roads
Cemetery. Bro. Esmond Bartley officiated."
