Born: Mudlick, KY 3 Dec 1924
Son of: Roy Alexander and Mattie Ada Smith England, dec'd.
Widower of: Betty Lois Birge who he married 10 Dec 1946 in Glasgow.
Attended school in KY, was an Army veteran of WWII, member Wingate American
Legion, worked for Wingate Elevator, Coak Creek School and retired from
Montgomery Co HIghway Dept in 1985.
Survivors:
Sons: Paul W England and wife Linda; Larry T. England and wife Michelle, all of
Wingate.
Daughters: Mrs Ronald (Betty) Brown of Alamo, IN; Mrs Wanda Mae Stearns of
Crawfordsville, IN and Mrs. Lyle (Sue) Bartelson of Waynetown, IN
11 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 12
step-great-grandchildren.
Preceded in deatha also by one grandson, 2 brothers, 2 sisters.
Services: 1 pm Saturdy, 22 July 2000, Shoemaker Funeal Home, Waynetown, IN;
burial Waynetown Masonic Cemetery with military honors.
