"Dr. A. E. Ferguson died at home in Austin, age 56. Born and reared in Flippin country, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ferguson. Had a large practrice in southern part of Barren Co. and edge of Monroe and Allen Counties. Married first Tilda Dossey, two children: Earl Ferguson of Williamson, West Va., Mrs. Ruby Gardner, Flippin. Married second Miss Nora Downing ...2 children survive: Mrs. John Ray Carver of Glasgow, Miss Margaret Ferguson. Eight brothers and sisters: Mrs. T. B. Harlan, Guthrie, Okla; Mrs. U.W. Smith, Mrs. Hattie Siddens of Glasgow, Mrs. L. C. Bailey, Mrs. C. H. Burks, Mrs. Lillian Goodall, T. W. Ferguson & L. D. Ferguson, all of Flippin. Member Baptist Church.
