Forrmerly of Monroe Co KY, born there 13 Jan 1922 Son of the late Varnie and 
Vennie Proffitt Gentry Member Church of Christ, U S Army veteran of WW II, 
former co-owner of Gentry Brothers Service Station in Tompkinsville, retired 
employee of Eaton Axle in Glasgow.
Survivors:
Wife: Modelle Williams Gentry
Daughter: Jane Hagan and husband Steve of Tompkinsville
Brother: Omer Gentry of Mt Hermon KY
Sisters: Beadie Williams and Beulah Billingsley, both of Glasgow and Mae Van 
Greer of Lexington KY
Granddaughters: Caitlin and Stephanie Hagan Preceded also in death by:
Brothers: Houston J, Hazel, Avery and Lester Gentry
Services: 1 pm, Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, burial Monroe County 
Memorial Lawn, military honors provided by DAV Chapter 20 of Glasgow.
