Retired school teacher and taught English for 40 years; librarian and English
teacher for 25 years at Austin-Tracy High School.
Preceded in death by:
Brothers: Willie Arthur, Claude K and Tom C Simmons
Sisters: Nelie Elizabeth and Neicie Ellen Simmons
Niece: Elizabeth Bush
Survivors:
Niece: Marjorie Towe
Nephew: Billie Lewis Simmons - both of Scottsville, KY
Services: 2 pm Monday, 24 Jan 2000, Hughes Funeral Home, burial Union Cemetery.
