Ordained Missionary Baptist minister, member of Rough Hill Missionary Baptist 
Church, farmer. Preached 39 years at the following churches (all Missionary 
Baptist): RockyHill, Spring Creek, White Oak, Brattontown, Mt. Zion, Days 
Crossraods, Meadorville, Fountain Run, Antioch, Enon, Maple Grove #1, Maple Grove 
#2, Pleasant Home, Akersville, current pastor of Friendship.
Married: 5 November 1947 Calcie Mahaney, survives
Also survived by:
Daughter: Mary Lou Witcher and husband Ronnie of Lafayette, TN
Sons: Jimmy Stinson and wife Janis of the Red Hill community in Allen Co and Dennis

Stinson and wife Anna of Lafayette.
Sisters and brothers-in-law: Mervin Stinson of Holland, KY and wife Mary Lee and 
Frank Mahaney of the Midway community in Allen Co
8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
Preceded also in death by brothers: Arnold, Norman and Carmen Stinson.
services: 2 pm Wednesday, 11 April 2001,M Alexander-Goad Funeral Home Chapel in 
Lafayette, TN, burial Rough Hill Cemetery.
