Glasgow (KY) Weekly Times, 18 Nov 1896.
"Mr. Willie Wood died at the home of his father, Mr. R. F.Wood, near CoralHill, 
last Monday morning with blood-poisoning. He was aboutfifty years old,and had 
never been married. Mr. Wood was a clevr, genial,generous-heartedyoung man, and 
his sudden death was heard with profoundregret. The remainswere interred in the 
family burying ground, near hisfather's residence,yesterday, in the presence of 
a large concourse of sorrowingrelatives andfriends."friends."
