Shirley Indenture: William Farrow to William Nelson : Montgomery County KY Date 22sd August 1803 Deed Book 2 Page 527, 528 This Indenture made this 22sd day of August one thousand eight hundred and three Witness: William Farrow attorney in fact for William Farrow of the State of Virginia the said William Farrow of the one part and William Nelson of the other part, both of the State of Kentucky Witnesseth That the Said William Farrow attorney in fact for the said William Farrow in Consideration of the Sum of Nine pounds the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted bargained and sold the Said, William Nelson a certain parcel of Land lying in the county of Montgomery and on Grassy Lick Creek containing eighteen acres being part of Thornton Farrows preemption and bounded as follows: to Wit Beginning at a white Thorn Lanes Corner and extending thence North twenty nine Degrees East fifty four and a Quarter poles to a Red oak white Thorn and sugartree thence south fifty six Degrees East sixty poles to a locust Stake thence South forty nine Degrees West fifty six poles to a Stake on Lanes land thence running his Line North fifty six Degrees West forty four poles to the beginning with all its appurtenances To have and to hold the said parcel of Land with the appurtenances to the said William Nelson and his Heirs to the on proper use and behoof of him the said William Nelson and his Heirs forever and the said William Farrows attorney in fact for the said William Farrow and William Farrow that Said parcel of Land with appurtenances to the said William Nelson and his Heirs or assigns against the claim of all persons whatsoever doth forever warrants & defend In Witness whereof the said William Farrow attorney in fact for the said Wm Farrow and Wm Farrow hath hereunto set their hands and affixed their seales the day and year Said above written Will Farrow Signed by Will L.S.
