Indenture: Martin & Lucy Guy to R B Graves: Montgomery County KY Date: 7 March 1866 Deed Book 28 Page 572 This Indenture made and entered into this 7th day of March 1866 between Martin Guy & Lucy Guy his wife of the county of Montgomery and state of Ky of the first part & RB Graves of the same county & state aforesaid of the second part. Witnesseth, That the said parties of the first part, for and in consideration of Fifteen hundred dollar, secured to be paid by notes, the further consideration of one dollar in hand paid, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, have granted bargained and sold & by these presents do grant bargain sell & confirm unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns, all their tract or parcel of land situated lying and being in the counties of Montgomery & Bath & state of Ky on the waters of Slate Creek & bounded as follows, to wit: Beginning at a stake corner to James Ewings, thence N 89 W 135.41 poles to a ???? ash corner to James Anderson, thence S 6 W 46.18 poles to the supposed corner of W Botts, a set stone thence south 6 degrees 30' E 83 poles to a set stone on the margin of the great road corner to W Botts, thence N 89 E 73.12 poles to a set stone at the margin of the great road, thence N 89 degrees 30' E 58 poles to a stake corner to Ewing, thence N 30 E 123.30 poles with Ewings line to the place of beginning.
