John Leach and Nancy his wife late Nancy Dale of the one part and William Chiles of the other part and all now of the state of Kentucky witnesseth that the said Alexander Dale &c has this day for and inconsideration of thirty dollars to each of us in hand paid bargained and sold and doth by these presents bargain sell and convey to the said William Chiles his heirs and assigns all their right title and interest in and to the tract of land thereon -?- Jane Dale now resides upon hingstons fork of Licking and is bounded as follows viz beginning at a white oak and ash stump the De-?-ed corner thence east 160 poles to a planted stone corner to Harrows? land thence next 160 poles to a stake thence North to the beginning supposed to contain 75 acres, be the same more or less. to have and to hold the above discribed tract of land with its appurtenances to the said William Chiles his heirs and assigns and the said Alexander Dale, William Becraft and Jane his wife John Leach and Nancy his wife doth by these presents warrant and defend the above tract of land with its appurtenances to the said William Chiles against them the said Alexander Dale &c against the the claim of them selves, their heirs, and all others Claiming by through or under them or either of them, but not against the claim of any other person whatsoever it being hereby clearly understood that the parties of the first of this deed sells only their undivided intrest in the bove tract of land In witness where of the said Alexander Dale, William Becraft and Jane his wife John Leach and Nancy his wife have there unto set their hands and affixed their seales the day and date first above written witness Alexander Dail Seal T D Chiles Jane Becraft Seal his William Becraft Seal Robert + Davis John A. Leach to be his act and deed and on the 24th of oct 1829 proven by the oaths of Thomas D Chiles and Robert Davis to be the act and deed of the said Alexander Dale on the 26th of sept 1829 and on the 5th of oct 1829 the said Nancy Leach and Jane Becraft being examined by me privily and a part from their said husbands declared they did freely and willingly seal and deliver the said writing and wishe not to retract it and acknowledge the said writing again shown and explained to them to be their act and deeds and consenteth that the same may be recorded which is done att M Harrison Clk
