Stevens, clk This indenture made and entered into this 9th day of September A.D.. 1852 between William Moore of the one part and Harrison Caywood of the other part both of the county of Montgomery and state of Kentucky witnesseth: That the said William Moore for and in consideration of the sum of $660 to him in hand paid, the receipt of which is hereby fully acknowledged, has sold unto said Caywood, a part of the farm on which he now lives, lying in the county of Montgomery and state of Kentucky in the forks of Grassy Lick and Aaron's Run Creeks, and bounded as follows : Beginning at a set Stone in the road leading up Aaron's Run a corner to John Mitchell--thence South 86 1/4 E. 11 7/10 poles to a point in Aaron's Creek. Thence down the center of the Creek, it being the line N 66 1/2 East 9 4/10 poles N77 E 15 poles. N40 E. 20 4/10 poles course continued in all of 29 2/10 poles thence North 15 1/4 East 14 poles to a point in the center of the creek corner to Harrison Caywood.. Thence North 83 East 21 2/10 poles to a stake corner to said Caywood.Thence S 5 1/2 E12 8/10 poles to a stake corner to said Caywood.Thence N 76 E. 15and 3/10 poles to a point in the center of Grassy Lick Creek corner with said Caywood. Thence up the center of the Creek S.15 E.8 4 10 poles to a point in the center of the Creek a corner made for said Caywood in John Wilson line. Thence leaving the Creek S. 83 W. 34 poles to a stone a corner made for said Caywood. Thence S.10 feet 10 in. W. 67 4/10 poles to a stone in John Mitchell's line, a corner made for said Caywood. Thence N 52 degrees 47 feet W. 67 and 1/10 poles to the Beginning. Including 15 acres three roods and 19 poles of land, the ground on which the Free Mason Lodge stands and one foot around it, and a passway to it is excepted, and not hereby conveyed. The aforesaid tract or parcel of land together with all the improvements and appertanences belonging to or in any wise appertaining -- leaving out the Lodge ground to the same, is hereby conveyed to the said Harrison Caywood his heirs and assignees. To have and to hold the same for their own proper use and benefit for ever. And the said William Moore, together with his wife Angeline Moore, who hereby relinquishes her right of dower in and to the land conveyed by this deed, and do covenant and agree with the said Caywood his heirs and C. that they will forever warrant the property hereby conveyed. In testimony whereof, we have hereunto set our hands and seals the day and date first above written. "?Intertinced? before signed as follows the ground on which the Free Mason Lodge stands and one foot around it and a passway to it is excepted and not hereby conveyed" "leaving out the lodge ground" signed and sealed William Moore Angeline Moore State of Kentucky Montgomery County I. Stevens clerk of the court for the county aforesaid do certify that this deed, William Moore and his wife Angeline Moore to Harrison Caywood, was this day produced to me in my office by the grantors, and acknowledged by the said William Moore to be his act and deed, and the said Angeline Moore being examined by me separate and apart from her said husband declared that she did freely and willingly seal and deliver the said writing and wishes not to re-tract it and acknowledged said instrument of writing again shown and explained to her to be her act and deed and consenteth that the same may be reported Whereupon the said deed, together with this certificate have been duly entered of record in my office.
