Shirley This Indenture made and entered into this 16th day of February 1870 by and between Surelda Mooreand James F Moore her husband parties of the first part and Lafayette M. Green party of the second part both parties being of the county of Montgomery in state of Kentucky. Witnesseth that the parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of one Thousand and Forty two dollars (1042) paid to them by the party of the second part in hand, the receipt of which is hereby fully acknowledged have bargained sold and conveyed and do by this Indenture grant bargain sell and convey unto the party of the second part their whole entire title and interest in and to a certain Lot or parcel of land lying in the county and state aforesaid on the waters of Grassylick Creek and bounded as follows Beginning at a set stone in the Original line of the Dower land of Mrs Ann Nelson decd & L.M. Greene, corner made for Surelda Moore & a part of the Wm Nelson Heirs thence with said line, S 81 W 47 4/10 poles to a stake on west side of public dirt road corner with Said L M Greene thence along west side of said road S 19 1/4 E 52 3/10 poles to a stone corner with Lot No 5 or the Lot assigned Telitha Moore out of said Dower land thence leaving road N 81 E 47 4/10 poles to a stone corner with same thence N 19 1/4 W 52 3/10 poles to the beginning. containing Fifteen acres and two roods of land; it being the same lot of land laid off out of the dower land of Ann Nelson and Known as lot No 6, and assigned to the said Surelda Moore late & Surelda Nelson. The aforesaid tract or parcel of land is hereby sold and conveyed by the parties of the first part unto the party of the second part to have and to hold the same forever with title of general warranty In testimony Whereof the parties of the first part have hereunto subscribed their names the day and date first above written James F Moore Surelda H Moore State of Kentucky Montgomery County} Sct I, J.R.
