Deed: William D & Talitha Moore to Josiah Davis: Montgomery County KY Date: 12 January 1867 Deed Book 29 Page 199 For the consideration of Sixteen hundred and four dollars and Thirty one cents cash in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, We William D Moore and his wife Talitha Moore, do by these presents grant gargain, sell and convey to Josiah Davis the following described tract or parcel lying and being in Montgomery county Kentucky on the waters of Grassy Lick Creek, being Lot No 6 allotted to said Talitha Nelson Moore in division by commissioners of the landed estate of her father William Nelson and which division and allotment are now of record in the office of the clerk of the Montgomery county court in Record book 6 page 112 and bounded as follows: Beginning at a stone corner to Mrs Gilkey at 7 thence S 54 E 43 4/10 poles to a walnut, an original corner thence N 38 1/4 W 65 4/10 poles to a stone an original corner thence S 63 W 20 Poles to a stone an original corner, thence S 27 E 81 poles to the Beginning. Containing Twenty Five acres, Three roodsand Twenty Seven poles of land. To have and to hold the said land hereby conveyed unto the said Josiah Davis his heirs and assigns forever and the said Moore and wife hereby warrant the title to the property hereby conveyed.
